Hi, My name is German, and no, before you ask I am not from Germany, although I do admire Germany greatly. My friends call me “Germz”, I am the person behind the dot com. I’m 14, and I live in the US.

I discovered the internet (by discover I mean started using it a lot) about 2 or 3 years ago, I would spend countless hours playing online games, about 6 to 8 hours non-stop online was very usual for me.

One day, I got bored of the games and stumbled upon an ad that talked about getting free i-pods, obviously I got interested in it, but I was wondering how that company made the money to give free i-pods, and that’s how I started wondering about making money online.

Once I found out how the websites made their money I wanted to open a website of my own, but that would be too much work since I talked to a lot of the owners and most of them had to stay online working on their websites all day, and since I’m school that would just be impossible for me.

By finding out that I could make money online I started searching for ways to do it, and I found John Chow’s blog, I read how he got started blogging, and how much his blog has grown, since his blog is so big I really wanted to start a blog like his, but the thing was that I didn’t know much about making money online, so I went on a Google search Rampage.

During my searches in Google trying to learn to make money online, I found a forum made for Webmasters, I decided to join and I started to ask a ton of questions, all were answered by people who knew what they were talking about, some of them even had companies. I would spend all day (And I still do) trying to learn from others by reading their questions and by asking my own questions, I learned about SEO, and website Marketing.
