Make the most out of your Ads
Do you have a high visitor count? Do you think you could be making more money from your website than you are already making now? Are your visitors not clicking your ads? Then this article should help you out.

CPM Ads
If you have a very visited Website, and if your traffic exceeds your expectations, but you are not making much from your ads then you might be able to triple, or even quadruple the amount of money that you are already making now.

As many of you know, Advertisers like Adsense, and YPN will pay you an Extra amount depending on the CPM (Cost per Thousand Impressions) of the ad.

If you were to be paid $1 dollar each time the ad is shown to 1 thousand people, and you have let’s say… 10 thousand unique visitors a month, then you would only make $10 dollars a month, which is not bad since all you did was place an ad anywhere in your site.

But what if you got paid 10 cents (which is a low amount) each time one of your visitors clicks on an ad that you have? All you would need to make $10 dollars would be 100 visitors. That’s a 1/100 fraction of visitors that you are already getting. Can you imagine how much money you could make if you got all of those 10,000 people to click on your ads?

Optimizing Ads
As I said before on this Article, there are things that you can do to optimize your ads to make the best out of them. Here is a way that shows you one of the ways to properly place your ads.

The proper positioning should make the ads appear on every possible visible place. Try to make your site have a lot of ads displaying while still showing good content on it. A good way to position ads would be to have an ad in the left of the page, the middle of the content and the right of the page (sidebar). The ad in the middle of the content, is guaranteed to be viewed by your visitors as everyone that goes to your site is expecting to read your content.

The reason why there is an ad on the left the center and the right is because people read from left to right, well at least everyone except Asians, they read from right to left… but the method would still work since an ad is placed on the left as well.

Another tip, would be to leave a 468 x 60 space on your header so that you can sell your own ads, and cut off the middle man, like Google, YPN, Adbrite, etc. You may also want to leave some spots to sell more ads your own like, 125 x 125 ads that you can sell for a very good price.

Once you properly place your ads, you’ll have a good ad optimized website that is sure to bring money to your site.

And remember, “Traffic quantity does not matter but, it’s traffic quality that matters.”
