Looking at my incoming keywords, I’ve noticed that most of you guys are interested in Aweber alternatives, don’t worry I was in the same boat a while ago. That’s when I found MailChimp and it’s no monkey business!
If you’ve been an RSS subscriber of this blog, then you’ve most likely noticed the small footer link in all my e-mails advertising MailChimp.
When I first found Mailchimp I was a little skeptical about using it, but after fooling around with its settings and options I found it much more easier to use than Aweber. A lot more cheap too! Their prices are much more flexible than Aweber as well. Take a look at their pricing.

Not only that, but MailChimp also offers Pay as you go! When was the last time you saw Aweber offer that option?
If you’re a cheap user like me, then you’ve probably noticed the big old green font saying “Free”, That’s right folks! MailChimp allows you to get as many as 100 leads with their Free service. Once again, when was the last time that you saw Aweber offer that?
MailChimp is absolutely perfect not only for companies, but bloggers as well. Take a look at the options that come with their packages.
- RSS To E-mail
- Reports and tracking
- Twitter and Facebook Integration
- Social Share Tag
- FeedBurner RSS-to-Email Hack
MailChimp has over 80,000 users, ranging from Firefox, Intel, and even the Make a Wish Foundation. So kick Aweber good bye and say hello to MailChimp.

Everything I read points me to Aweber, even with the higher cost relative to Mailchimp. Ease of use is worth $20 a month if email is making you money and helping build a business.
