We all know Digg, the famous social networking website that allows you to submit content so that others can view it and then rate it and comment it. Many have tried to get in to the home page of Digg to get massive amounts of traffic and many have failed, this weekend I will try the Digg experiment.

The Digg experiment will basically be simple tests to see how much popularity an article gets. The experiment will also monitor the reactions of the members of Digg and their responses to the articles submitted to the famous website.

I am hoping to see a major change in the amount of Diggs articles submitted by me get. I will post the results of the test this Sunday in our weekly weekend wrap up post, so stay tuned!

Well digg is very polluted nowadays.. I don’t think it would very much make you hit the home page. Good luck though

Its very hard to hit the front page. You have to give your articles very tricky titles and content descriptions to attract people’s attention. Also, it helps if the “Digg it” icon is on the post itself. So whenever the user reads, they can digg it there aswell.

Digg definitely is a goldmine if you can get to the frontpage. I have no idea how one would go about trying to do that… well… a little bribe may help.

Good luck, I wanna see how this turns out.

Way too many try to cheat Digg and Stumble nowadays so it’s hard to reach the front page. I will of course follow your results because it’s going to be interesting to see if you succeed.
