Aweber, a product that I HATE to buy is pretty useful.
The reason why I say that I hate it is because I could do the whole service on my own except that it takes an awful amount of time to achieve what you can achieve with this service in seconds.
I basically got this because I started getting massive subscribers last week. I got about 50 subscribers in just a bit over a week. But not all of those people have confirmed their subscription so it leaves me only with about 37 subscribers.
Most of the people that subscribed to my site were mainly interested in the templates and in downloading the Get started blogging e-book. In order for them to do that, they would have to subscribe to my feedburner feed, then they’d have to forward a message to an e-mail responder that I had set up that would mail them the links to the downloads.
But… since I really like my readers I need to contact them to tell them when I give something away like a template or an e-book, and since I’m getting plenty of subscribers I can’t go around mailing them one by one giving them download links, so this is where Aweber comes in and saves the day.
Aweber will easily allow you to mail all your subscribers at once and let them know about whatever is new in your site, in my case it would simply be download links to my templates and future give aways.
Another great feature about Aweber is that they report your stats to Feedburner, so if you have 10 subscribers with Aweber, Aweber will report those 10 people to Feedburner and those 10 people will then be added to your subscriber count.
Even though Aweber costs about $20 dollars a month, it’s a small price to pay to keep you, my readers happy.
