Hi guys,
earier today someone tired to scratch my iphone screen while playing tap tap revenge with him but i'm glad i have the shield on =D (such a bustard isn't it? sour grape)
at first i saw a long scratch mark which seems to be left by scratching his sharp finger nails with huge forces on the screen (he quited the game half way and i noticed the mark later on).
of course i was worried so i removed the shield and checked for scratches immediately when i came home.
guess what? NO scratches on the device itselves. it is actually the shield that is being scratched and it can be solved easily by replacing a new shield if i do not wish to see the scratch mark again. now i have installed back the scratched shield to remind me the presence of such a bustard. very glad to know that my device is still fine... Sorry for my langugage :)
So guys & girls, get the shield.. it is really useful provided u have installed it properly. i had it on for about 3weeks before this incident happened. u will notice lots of bubbles & foam in the 1st 3days but they will eventually fade away and the shield will fix nicely against your device. in the mean time, i don't think we should mess with your device like performing the 'sractching tolerence test' as the shield is not yet settled and thus able to perform up to its capabilities. but 1 thing to note is that you might find it hard to put a casing ontop of your devices after installing the shield which is the only flaw i found.

hope these help =D

Sounds familiar. I've heard both opinions on the shield. I wish I could see how they install it when it works well.

Sorry it didn't work for you.

Bummer.

I would definitely say screen and keyboard are the most important buying decision for me as the specs are fairly standard across brands anyway.

I have bought several Invisible shield from Zagg.com all works great and looks very nice specially on my Macbook, MSI laptop & iPhone 3G.. I suggest we have to use some common sense and with intellect with the item we buy, 1st by knowing what type of material it's made of and it's obviously a plastic type of material.. when u make a scratch this type of plastic it surely will have a scratch line but after awhile it will be gone or less obvious.. the inside or unit itself will not be scratch! so it's claim is quiet True, that your unit will not be scratched!! WORKS WELL with keys, phone inside my pocket while jogging!! As for installation that also we need to use technical common sense, Yes it's kinda hard to install if you just stupidly follow the instructions, my tip is put a few drops inside the sprayer and a bowl of water beside you when installing.. wash your hands, clear all things on your desk and give some concentration when installing, alignment is the 1st step to make a perfect installation.. the Shampoo will allow you to make some adjustment in aligning the I.S. on your gadgets just like installing a Tint in your car..

Thanks Eric sy
