Doodle for Google

12 May 2008 No Comment

doodle googleHow come nobody told me about Doodle 4 Google!?
I’m not a good drawer but I most certainly would love to participate. The top entries looked very easy to make. Some kinder garden kids are very gifted, while some 12th grades need some practice.

I bet it’s because not many schools have signed up for it, but I most certainly would love to participate, it would be free traffic to my site. So much traffic from Google that it would break my hosting company’s servers.

But enough of me dreaming about more traffic… lets get back to the Doodle for Google.

If you want to participate, your school must sign up for it first (sucks for me), if your schools is not signed up, then you can’t participate. You must also be a US resident student from K-12, and you must have a passion for art.

While browsing through their pages I found the original doodler. This guy can draw! And he has the coolest computer ever. If you see the video, you will see him using photoshop to make his awesome drawings! I wish I could do that, but I bet that I’d get frustrated the first 10 minutes and then quit.

So now that you know about the contest, go ahead and start voting!

Oh yeah, the picture that you see here is my favorite it was made by Sean Staats from Paden City Elementary, and to my opinion he made the best drawing so great job Sean! Good luck in your future drawings, and I hope you win.
